Double Room Ensuite - 2km from Lincoln City center - Hamilton Hotel

Room OK and would have stayed there again if they had come to sort the issue. Positive: The location was good and it was handy to have your own fridge in the room. Negative: There were no curtains in the room only a blind which didn't block out the light from outside or give enough privacy. There was no TV signal so we couldn't watch the TV, which we reported and to cut along story short after going back and forth with someone via booking.com the property weren't going to send someone out until the next morning to look at the TV, We were only there for one night so this was of no use to us that evening and as i explained to them the next morning we would be getting ready and having breakfast, so with no time given for their attendance we said that we didn't want to be disturbed. Asked for a partial refund due to part of the facilities that I had paid for not being provided and they didn't want to know. Even if they are not on site, if there is an issue they should still have someone to attend for any issues.

Was clean & good location good for the price. Positive: Location was perfect for what I needed. Negative: The code for the doors took absolutely ages to key in took at least 15 tries. Also when we came back at night there was no outside light around the door so had to use phone torch to be able to put in code. On the website the pics so fridges in the kitchen area with breakfast items tea milk etc but there wasn’t any. There was no spoon in our room to make a drink with. Silly little things. The blinds need a little tlc too

Positive: That was near town Negative: Am was there 2 days stay and am had no milk aw coffee in me room am rang many times and was told be sorted and manger be in touch still waiting am had go with out coffee milk

Reminded me of a homeless shelter, avoid Positive: The room I had was big Negative: It felt like I was staying in a half way house. Somewhere the homeless are put to stay. The other guests were obviously drunk, abusive to each other shouting and screaming and I’m not sure what drugs they were on either. The fire alarm went off whilst I was there as some of them were obviously smoking as they shouted at eachother about it. I travelled as a lone woman for work and I didn’t feel safe when I had to go outside in the evening as the fire alarm was going off, with everyone else stumbling outside, all men and it was very intimidating. I left as I didn’t feel safe to stay. I had to pay to stay elsewhere.
