Single Room with Shared Bathroom, 2.5kms from Lincoln Central

Steep access steps Positive: Location was perfect and very clean. Negative: Shared bathroom, no staff on site and steep steps to get to the entrance plus a high key access meant my mother who is unsteady on her feet and short struggled to gain entry . For this reason only we would unfortunately not return

Dont stay here unless your desperate Positive: Nothing Negative: I got exactly what I expected for £50 a night

Poor and expensu Positive: Not a lot Negative: Difficult check in, no wash basin in the room is not acceptable

Passable for a short stay. Positive: I cycle tour a lot and all I want is 2 things, a clean room and a comfortable bed, often I am disppointed. Normally I wouldn't stay in a place without staff, I've had bad experiences before with problems and door codes but there wasn't much else available in Lincoln. Communications from the business was excellent and I didn't have any problems with the 2 door codes so that's good. It's in a decent but not great location, a long (flat) walk to the centre, but in a better area than nearer the centre. My single room was clean as was the whole building as far as I could tell.. Breakfast bits in the room with a useful fridge/freezer and a decent selection of tea/coffee etc. Negative: For the single room it says "Shared bathroom" but what it doesnt say is "shared bathroom miles away on another floor". Considering this, what is the point of providing a kettle without water in a room without water? Bizarre! The bed in room 11 is no longer fit for purpose, if the uncomfort doesnt keep you awake then broken springs twanging away all night will.

Nice guest house , noisy area though and not safe. Positive: I liked my room. It was clean and with a nice mattress. The view was nice, big windows, nice WC with a shower. For the money we were charged the quality was quite good. Negative: There was this sense that the air inside the house was not fresh. There was nobody there to welcome us or give the feeling that someone is watching the place from intruders. In general not very safe. The kitchen's table not very clean.
