Single Room Ensuite - 2.5km to Lincoln City Center

It’s decent value but you feel short changed if it’s missing the welcome bits for breakfast Positive: Close to work Negative: There was no bottled water or anything in the fridge as there has been many times I’ve stayed here. The fridge picture online was false advertising

Positive: The room was lovely, small, but cozy, the villa itself nice, and I liked the toilet, which was tiny, but very nice. Negative: The place is quite far from the center, but one can use the bus. The front door only opened after the third try. Earlier, it was making sounds etc., but not opening. There should be better instructions how to reach the rooms of specific numbers downstairs. The room was extremely hot. I mean one couldn't bear it. Probably because it's small. There was a fan, thank you, it worked nicely, but there were only 2 electricity sockets, with 1 being used for the refrigerator, and it was written there not to take it out. So I had to chose between fanning myself and charging my laptop :(. This is actually a major problem and I would give it 2.5 points for comfort, but it's not possible, and 2 would be too low, so I'll stick with 3. The TV was not working. The image was there, but distorted in the line in the middle. But the audio was practically all gone, that is from time to time it was making those small sounds, and that's all. I'm not sure if the Internet worked well. I think there were issues, but I don't remember that for sure. Apart from this, the room was already open when I reached it, with the door being kept by this little wardrobe (I think in order to make the room cooler - it didn't work), so when I entered, I didn't know the handle of the door has a place to dial in the number. And I was stupid enough to go out without my phone. Fortunately, thanks to the earlier problem at the front door I somehow memorised the code, so one problem solved another one :).

Positive: Walkable to the town. Negative: The code for accessing the hotel. On my return at midnight i couldnt get in. But luckily someone else turned up and gained entry.

Positive: Oscillating fan in the room! Negative: No staff on site, struggled to get in the building! Post says breakfast included, this was 2 slices of bread, butter, jam, yoghurt, a small cereal pack, a small tin of beans. A communal kitchen on a different floor to cook in (didn't bother)! Milk which had turned to cheese and on the second day a milk that was already open! A TV that I could not watch a single channel due to weak signal! Not impressed!

It Positive: Good value, clean room, when I needed assistance staff answered promptly and were helpful. Negative: Had problems getting into the building as the automated door had not been fully closed and locked properly before I tried to access the building, so then it wouldn’t unlock after I put my code in. After 10 minutes of attempting on the phone to staff, I pulled the door towards me and it shut and locked properly, then I was able to access. If I hadn’t figured this out I would not have been able to get in, as thd staff didnt suggest this. Shower riser not fitted properly- loose and wobbly Toilet roll holder not attached- just propped on wall fitting Mould developing in shower, sealant. No place to hang up towels in the bathroom. Very narrow door into bathroom and narrow space for toilet. Although the room is on facing onto a quiet side road, It was too close to the main road to leave the window open at night due to the noise from the main road. It was very hot night, so I put the fan on but had to turn that off due to noise.
