Double Room with Private Bathroom

Very last minute booking. Felt safe. Bit rough around the edges. Positive: Friendly staff. Towel provided for bathroom and shower. WiFi password provided when asked. Convenient car park and accessible ramp. Negative: Bathroom not particularly clean. Main areas wiped but rough around the edges. Dirt, dust and usual bits and bobs on floors and surfaces. While not alarming, the bathroom and room could do with a lick of paint, a clean of the nooks and crannies and refreshment of amenities (kettle, TV etc.). Also suspicious that every time I entered the room I was itchy and bitten shortly afterwards, so possible start of a problem? Tried to report this on exit but no staff on reception that morning.

Good location and rooms for price just needs a clean!! Positive: Super convenient central location, great spacious car park, kind and polite staff member doing check in. Decent sized rooms and all facilities you’d expect for price! Negative: Just grubby!!! Rust/mould on bathroom, stains on wall, curtains floor.. such a shame as decent hotel but just needs a proper good clean!!

Ok Positive: Close parking Negative: No towels, had to ask for them and only one tea cup

Paid for 2 nights, stayed for 1 Positive: The shower was good, shame the door didn't stay shut and fell on me! Negative: The mattress was just one big dip in the middle, you couldn't lay down on it, you just disappeared into a hole. There was only 1 coat hanger, and that was broken. We had to ask for towels, they were stained with what looked like make-up. It was far too hot in the room, even though the heating wasn't on, we couldn't open a window because of the noise from the road. The kettle didn't fit in the sink to fill it, and there was only 1 sachet of coffee. We only stayed 1 night even though we had paid for 2. The main door was left open 24hrs, with no security. The shower door wouldn't shut, so I put my shower gel bottle next to it, when I went to open the door it fell on me. I thought the duvet was on the bed upside down, but the cover had holes in it and the duvet had come through them.
