King Studio - Simplystay St Martins

Positive: Lovely room and all the facilities needed. Thank you for a great stay and we will look forward to coming back at some point! Negative: The room and it's facilities

Great location, good facilities, but some issues that need sorting. Positive: Good location. Nicely refurbished to a high standard. Great having a little kitchenette. Good selection of crockery and utensils. Negative: Some shelves had been missed in the cleaning - found dirty fork and hair on two different shelves. The lighting was very harsh. One central light which was extremely bright and one very dimly lit lamp in one of the rooms and no lamp in the other room. Not suitable for relaxing on an evening, especially if you didn't want to watch tele but wanted to read. Needed to provide washing up liquid - had to wash pots with water only which isn't hygienic. Info said there was parking the reality was you had to pay for parking in NCP parking lot, this should have been made clear. Info was misleading. Arriving and finding our room was tricky. we only had one link to one of our rooms. Though the staff answered the phone straight away and sent a second code. We didn't understand why you couldn't check in until 4pm and had to leave by 10 am. This is not very generous or hospitable. The cleaners arrived before 10am so I imagine the rooms are all ready to use by the usually 2pm check in time. I presume all of the above are teething problems for a new business that will get worked out and then the accommodation would become excellent.

Positive: The location was great, and and the bed was most comfortable ive slept in, it was hard to get out of it. Negative: The only thing I didnt like was, a little bed light just to make it cosy , but still will be going back to use

Comfortable but not personal Positive: Comfortable bed and good kitchen Negative: Needs a hairdryer, dish soap and a personal reply to an email. Wanted to stay another day, but no response with an answer to a question so we decided not to.

Not impressed by the security!! Positive: The bed was comfortable and it was clean Negative: I was provided the wrong code to get into the building, I was working nights and so I was sleeping in the day and someone nocked on the door at 1pm and when I didn’t respond he just unlocked the door and started coming in!! Not impressed!!
