King Studio - Simplystay St Martins

Positive: Very modern clean and a good price for time of year. Not very noisy . And the rooms downstairs are a good size with living room as well. Will be back or recommend to others. Mark

Needs secondary glazing! Positive: The location is perfect,. The bed is comfy and the shower is nice and powerful. The room overall is very good. Negative: The room has an old sash window which is lovely, however no secondary glazing has been installed and given it's location just off the main high street and next to a restaurant it's INCREDIBLY noisy. The window offers zero resistance to sounds - it was almost as if the people and cars outside were in the room with you! This went on till gone 1am and it was impossible to sleep before then. Add to that the early check-out time and in the end we didn't sleep well at all. Additionally there was no washing up liquid or a drainer for drying pots.

Great location, shame about the others staying there Positive: Location was very central Negative: Very noisy from midnight onwards for a couple of hours. People also staying in the accommodation had no regard for others and kept us awake for a significant period

Bearable for two nights but not again . Negative: Noisy cocktail bar and taxis dropping off late at night .. didn’t check its location for nightlife ( assumed Lincoln would be quiet .. key codes very unreliable had to stand in pouring rain and wind we rang the nos to try to get in . There were mixups in another rooms too.A young woman found someone had got her allocated room . She had to wait till that was sorted. Other gusts like us were left in the freezing weather while the codes for rooms and outside door was changed. I think we booked the bigger studio but had the ordinary double bed .( no4) we were told . There was shaving razor left in the bathroom , The main lights was very dicey Our sidelight was broken although eventually worked .. ‘soneone would come’ was not honoured. The fridge was so noisy we had to turn it off. being such a small room . Location was suitable for young people who would be out late not for older couples . Needs to be made clear .
