Double Room Ensuite - 1.2 miles to Lincoln City Center

Extremely poor customer service and hotel management albeit room was clean Positive: The hotel itself, room wise I could not fault. It was clean and presentable. Bu unfortunately this is where the positive comments end. Negative: The information sheet was slightly incorrect but a phone call to request the correct Wifi password sorted the only information out that we really needed which was sent by WhatsApp - which I didn't realise at the time would be useful (the contact number) later. My daughter and I stopped here as she had an Offer Acceptance day @ Lincoln Uni and we wanted to be fresh faced and fully awake that morning after - was not to be. Unfortunately, of no fault of the hotel, 3 teenagers were in the room next door and from 10pm (the hotels advertised "quiet" time) they started playing loud music and raised voices. At midnight it did not stop, I tried to contact the Hotel Property Managers but to no avail so I sent a WhatsApp - the only reply I got was to ask what room number. At 2am I had to go round and confront the noisy neighbours which was intimidating, they turned the music down for half hour. From 3am to 6am I tried, with no luck to contact the hotel and the music and general noise continued till just after 6am - we had to be up and out at 7am. The only contact I had from the hotel was when I sent a message of disappointment and request for a refund - to which they replied you have to go through your booking agent. I did - the booking agent (Booking.com) couldn't get hold of the hotel and offered me £8 refund!!!! So overall, hotel room great however do not expect any form of customer service or assistance especially when needed.

Overall for the money we paid it was comfortable and good value. Positive: Location was very good for where we was going out that evening, we didn't opt for breakfast so I can't answer that one but there was a lovely kitchen area and social room , The rooms were very nice and clean,all our rooms came with bathrooms and the security was impressive the unique pin to access the rooms and front door. Also the off-road parking was a bonus. Negative: We stayed in room 2 there was a net curtain but no proper curtains it wasn't a problem to us but might be for others .

Good location for transport and Sincil Bank Positive: Location is very suitable to my needs Negative: Housekeeping to replace light bulb not working

A maintenance bloke let himself into our room with the code, said he had a leak to fix. Just as we was about to go out f Positive: It was warm Negative: A bloke had the code to our room to fix a leak. We had personal items in our room.
