Double Room Ensuite - 1.2 miles to Lincoln City Center

Probably won’t stay again. Positive: Location. That’s it Negative: Firstly had an absolute ordeal trying to get into the actual property. Was given three different check in information instructions yet when I tried opening the link it came up with 404 error on all of them. There is no reception desk or anyone actually working there, so when the code for the door wasn’t working there was no help except for a guy on the phone saying ‘you just input the code and push’ … which was no help in the slightest! When finally getting into the room there’s everything you need for it to be a hotel room, desk, refreshments, bed and bathroom. They weren’t outstanding but they’re there. Unless you need to use the mini fridge, which is hard to open as it’s on the floor and gets stuck on the floor when trying to open. The parking is a joke, hardly any space to park and with a massive sign saying if you don’t park in the space allocated you will incur extra charges seems to not matter as anyone was parked anywhere.

Comfortable with great facilities Positive: I often work in Lincoln and always stay at the Tennyson - comfortable rooms, good facilities and great to have a fridge and a parking space! This time I didn't read the instructions properly and just tried to use the old key safe to get in that I'd used last year (not seeing the process had changed). I phoned the helpline in a panic but it was answered straight away and the person on the phone calmly talked me through the process very kindly. I've learnt my lesson to read instructions! Very reassuring the customer service is so good Negative: I miss the lovely breakfast but completely understand why that no longer happens. It's great to have a full kitchen to use

Positive: Noone to deal with is perfect - passcode entry. Great location. Negative: Relatively basic but certainly does the job.

Good value accommodation for short stay in Lincoln. Positive: Reasonably priced accommodation in central location near a pleasant park. Shops and restaurants within walking distance Negative: Remote assistance could have been more responsive.

Positive: The bathroom is clean, and bed is comfy Negative: It's a bit noisy due to moving cars, as I am a light sleeper. Same access communal code as my allocated room.
