Double Room Ensuite - 1.2 miles to Lincoln City Center

Very good value for money, lovely hotel in a great location. Positive: Excellent location, good breakfast very clean and lovely and warm would definitely recommend to others and will definitely stay again. Negative: I don't have anything negative to say about this hotel.

Great stay, will come again. Thank you Positive: We have stayed at Tennyson a few times now. It’s in a prime location. Rooms are spacious, clean, and always fully equipped for our needs. We have never had a problem with parking as it comes with allotted parking spaces. Would highly recommend Negative: Spacious and clean

Enjoyed our visit to Lincoln ( love the city ) , property in great location if ypu dont mind a short walk , shame about Positive: This was our second visit to the property as we like the location, its about a 15 minute stroll into the city and some places to eat along the way and local Coop and Tesco Express to grab snacks . Negative: Unfortunately this visit it had a couple of things that could have been better. There was a hole in the wall where the door latch had been smashed through ( but that isn’t really an issue but needs fixing for appearance purposes) but the shower was my issue . The silver metal rack / shelf inside the cubicle was disgusting ( I had to get wipes and clean it myself ) as it was someone else’s mess also the shower head is caked in limescale ( yes they do get this but yes it does come off ) and for hotel standards i would have thought these should be cleaned . The photos show what came off the rack inside the shower .The metal towel shelf above the toilet was also dusty ( with our clean towels on it ) Last stay i slept well but unfortunately this visit the bed seemed quite uncomfortable ( so not sure if a mattress change has happened since my previous visit . Also quiet hours are from 10pm but unfortunately people were coming in after midnight, banging doors to get into the property and then downstairs doors also , then someone else with really heavy feet coming up the stairs ( didn’t have any of this before ) but it is a self service property with no one on site to manage this sort of thing .

Pleasant and clean, short and sweet stay. Positive: We ended getting cooked breakfast but was plenty to eat . Room could do with noise blocking out because of busy roads, and few repairs needed the door to toilet was hanging off , and the tv remote we tried to turn volume down but it was set at certain volume. Negative: Noisy roads outside, and location little far for walking to town.
