Twin Bed En-suite - 2kms to Lincoln City Center

Positive: I booked three rooms and one was ok Negative: Room 4 was right next to the road and the traffic noise was terrible! It shouldn't be let out. There was one pillow and a dirty cushion. The breakfast was several slices of bread in a bag and a tin of heinz beans in the fridge plus a yoghurt. A man was in one of the rooms and we had to phone the hotel to find out what was going on . It is not a hotel and it is like a roadhouse with key safes outside and limited parking. Why are you letting this place out Booking.com? What standards do you have? Low ones! I thought you were a good service!

worst 8 hrs sleep ever Positive: Very poor cereal was coco pops yuk and someone came into room whilst out to put items in fridge Negative: The bed s have seen better days was broke 3 years ago and been repaired ans mattresses are £99 jobs was sleeping on the slats of bed go to dreams and buy the maidstone pocket spring mattress less than 300 pound but will last and are turnable not like the old fashioned coil sprung mattress with springs poking out everywhere bed is the main thing when staying away

Last minute booking. Positive: It was spotlessly clean. All the glass and chrome shone like it was brand new. The paintwork was very white and clean too. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, in the bedrooms, shared kitchen, sitting room and hallways. We only saw the staff the next morning, but they were very nice and friendly, and were busy cleaning the rooms as soon as they came empty. Negative: It was a twin room, but it only had one very small cup and saucer, one mug, one spoon, one wine/ drinks glass.... The small fridge was tiny, but on the floor, and at turned 70 yrs old with bad knees, both my sister and I struggled to get down to it... Plus the electric kettle was stood on the top of it... Of which we thought it was a potential hazard, especially if anyone was clumsy or drunk and knocked the kettle full of water off the fridge and it went into the electrics of the fridge. Also... My bed was very springy, I could feel the springs in the mattress digging into my hips and thighs, but my sister said that hers was very comfy... So I obviously got the wrong bed...

Ok for a few nights Positive: Shower was absolutely brilliant! Distance not too far from the castle! Bed was comfy! Negative: Continental breakfast a bit disappointing, I was expecting fruit, pastries, ham, and weetabix and porridge.

Comfortable stay and great price. Positive: Good value for money.
