Studio Ensuite - 2kms from Lincoln City Center

Disastrous failure to supply what was paid for, with no help from Booking.com either Positive: The pre-arrival contact for our 2 night stay was timely and promising... And that is pretty much all that I can say in favour. Given the pathetic state of the so-called services provided, we left after 30 minutes. Negative: There are NO numbers marked on the ground to show which parking spot to use. (Issue raised by others, previously.) The "Studio" stank of stale cigarette smoke, despite it supposedly being a non-smoker's room. There was NO breakfast present in the Studio when we arrived, despite signs that said it would be there. I spent 15 minutes on the phone about this, to be told "it will be there tomorrow", but no indication of what time, nor how they would get it to us by breakfast time. What we did receive the next morning was a message via Booking.com at 07.53hrs confirming what we should have had. (Again, this issue has been raised by others previously.) There was NO internet access in the Studio that we rented. (Again, this has been mentioned by others.) In addition to the different WiFi connection signposted on the front door (from what was in the email), the WiFi Extender needed a password that was not provided. The "sofa" consisted of what I would call a one person padded tub chair. We secured the Studio, returned the keys to the key safe, and left the premises. I contacted Booking.com as soon as we arrived at an alternative room we had to hastily arrange at greater expense, and started a Dispute case with them. This was acknowledged and they asked for more information which I provided. Since then, despite me constantly requesting an update and copies of what I have submitted, Booking.com has failed to respond. So, after about 20 years as a loyal customer, Goodbye to Booking.com from me.

Would stay again and recommend 👌 Positive: Breakfast would have been a lot better if we would of had some bread? Negative: Just the above?

Avoid booking the studio room as the radiator has not been fixed for over a month. Staff don't care! Positive: Location Negative: Heating

Very nice but cold Positive: Very nice room with self service breakfast provided Negative: radiator in room 20 not working

It was ok for overnight stay. Not warm enough. Positive: Quiet. Private. Clean. Good to have a bathroom with bath. Negative: The heating was inadequate. The small column heater hardly warmed the room. Very basic amenities.
