Not the best, but also not the worst, I don’t regret for £40 but showering was a challenge
Positive: The bed in a single room was big, the pillows were comfortable, there was also a radiator which was convenient for someone who wasn’t used to the British weather, there was a mini fridge and TV. The location was comfortable, 1km away from the railway station. There were no staff members available but check-in and out was easy and explained in an automated message. There was a huge wardrobe and drawers. There was a breakfast and a kettle available with lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate packets, along with milk, some bread, honey, jam and a cup with a spoon.
Negative: The bathroom had no lights, as they had been broken by someone else. The faucet was on/off only and would pour a large amount of water. The drawers were loose, along with the towel holder and shower head. The door was hard to close as it required a specific placement. The rooms were really next to each other so you could hear noises from other people.

Value for money but could do with some improvements.
Positive: Breakfast was OK and the kitchen and the rooms were clean. We were also able to park on the forecourt which was a good thing as the hotel is on a very busy road. Staff answered the phone when we contacted them.
Negative: There were not enough cereal dishes or spoons. Bed sheets could do with being replaced as they were quite threadbare. One of us slept OK but was woken up twice by traffic and one of us slept badly because of the traffic, even with earplugs in.

Clean, cheap and cheerful. Fine for an overnight stay.
Positive: Easily accessible. The whole property was very clean and communication from hosts was very good throughout.
Negative: Bed in room 5 was falling apart and it was clear that it had been badly repaired before. Managed to hold it together throughout the night and mattress and bedding were comfortable.
There wasn’t enough cutlery in the kitchen if all rooms were full and I had to wash some up for us to use.
Noise level from the road into the ground bedroom we used was very loud.

Positive: I booked three rooms and one was ok
Negative: Room 4 was right next to the road and the traffic noise was terrible! It shouldn't be let out. There was one pillow and a dirty cushion. The breakfast was several slices of bread in a bag and a tin of heinz beans in the fridge plus a yoghurt. A man was in one of the rooms and we had to phone the hotel to find out what was going on .
It is not a hotel and it is like a roadhouse with key safes outside and limited parking.
Why are you letting this place out Booking.com? What standards do you have? Low ones!
I thought you were a good service!

Never to be repeated!
Positive: Decent clean room
Nice to have a fridge with fresh milk
Negative: Very noisy , traffic passing all night,
6pm Monday evening after hard grubby day working, there was no hot water.
“Continental breakfast” bit of a joke, 2 slices on bread in plastic bag, box on Cornflakes on the first day, none on the second.
Cleaner took dirty coffee mug, didn’t replace it, none in kitchen.
Good to know
