Single room Ensuite - 2km from Lincoln City Center

I won't be returning. Positive: The room was a good size with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Negative: The property is right on a busy main road and there is a lot of traffic noise all night. Unfortunately, the double glazed windows are warped and no longer seal properly, so I found that the road noise was just as loud when the windows were shut as when they were open. I did find some ear plugs in one of the drawers, but these were not enough and I only managed some intermittent sleep by putting two pillows over my head as well. In addition, I was very frustrated to find that I was not allowed to park at the property despite parking being advertised when I booked and one of my criteria for selecting it. The car park was clearly marked out with a parking bay for each room but it was empty. Luckily, I double checked the details sent, which stated that if I parked there I could be fined. I also rang the contact number to double check and it was confirmed that I had to park in the street because my booking didn't include parking. Why? There are double yellow lines outside the property so I was forced to park down the road and walk back with my luggage. I was lucky to get a space, anyone arriving after me would have been out of luck. This left a bad taste and I wouldn't return again for this reason and the noise.

Positive: Location Negative: It is a self check-in place and the link in the welcome message doesn't work so you have to call them. The room was not serviced properly when I got in. Used mug, trash can full. Also the shower didn't have a door.

Positive: Comfy bed and clean facilities Negative: Took me over an hour to gain access No WiFi Shower either scolding hot or cold

Just about coped, but unlikely to stay at any "Just Stay" properties in the future. Positive: Good location for the football ground, and near buses, shops, etc. Fridge in the room was handy and breakfast items were left in it for me. Negative: Gaining access was very stressful, ended up having to call booking.com (good service when called), never really got the hang of getting in to the property and then my room, which created some tension at the end of each evening, i.e. wondering whether I'd be able to get in or not. No staff at the property to talk to. Some of the fittings in the bathroom were virtually hanging off. Shower took a long time to warm up. Window blinds were completely inadequate, i.e. didn't keep sun out in morning. No way of controlling heat in room, so generally too hot.

Terrible. If I had known I would never have booked it. Unsafe for a single person Positive: No breakfast provided Negative: Unsafe door to bathroom, electric cable exposed, shower didn't work. Bedside light didn't work. Fridge noisy but empty. Traffic noise. Building felt unsafe.
